Project Brief: Abetifi School WASH Initiative
This comprehensive proposal details the deployment of critical water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure for school children in Ghana's Eastern Region.
Funder Overview
Project Summary
H2O’s first campaign supports a holistic WASH development project for a primary school in Abetifi, Ghana, serving approximately 390 students and educators.

The school currently faces significant water and sanitation challenges, including limited access to potable water, aging water storage, outdated sanitation infrastructure, and restrooms that do not provide adequate privacy or hygiene support.

The proposed WASH solution includes the construction of a mechanized borehole, improved water storage, modern latrines, hand washing stations, and hygiene education to help create a safer, cleaner, and more dignified learning environment.
